New York State Elementary Music Standards, Pre-K to Grade 5
Every 2017 New York State Learning Standards for the Arts: Music standard for Pre-K through Grade 5, grade by grade, with the Prodigies lesson that teaches each one.
New York adopted the New York State Learning Standards for the Arts in September 2017, with full implementation in the 2018–19 school year. General Music is written grade by grade from Pre-K, using the four artistic processes: Creating, Performing, Responding, and Connecting.
Heads up: plenty of district pages still list the 1996 arts standards (Standards 1 to 4). Those were replaced. The codes below (like MU:Cr1.1.Ka) are the current ones.
